Arrive in Summer: An Afternoon Wellness Retreat

June 27 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm CDT
$135

Summer carries a vibrant, fiery energy—full, fast, and often demanding. This afternoon retreat invites you to pause within it. To arrive, rather than rush. To reconnect, rather than push through.

Set on the peaceful grounds of Hold Your Horses, this experience blends mindful movement, the intuitive presence of horses, and the subtle power of sound to support awareness, connection, and restoration.

🧘 A 50-minute yoga practice, rooted in Hatha and slow Vinyasa, opens the body through breath, mobility, and steady strength—accessible to most able bodies and designed to help you settle in.

🐴 You’ll then step into a guided equine experience, with the option to engage through touch or simply observe. Horses meet us without expectation, offering a quiet mirror that invites presence and awareness.

🔊 The afternoon closes with a sound meditation led by JennieRuth. The vibrational frequencies of sound healing instruments move through the body—through skin, fluid, and bone—supporting deep relaxation and a sense of recalibration.

Weather permitting, the full experience will be held outdoors, immersed in the natural beauty of the property.

Details: June 27 | 1:00–4:00 PM

YOGA, BREATH & MEDITATION with Beth

Beth Claseman is the founder of Belle Shanti Yoga & Wellness and a dedicated yoga teacher who is passionate about helping people return to themselves—one breath at a time.

Her work is rooted in the belief that we don’t need to become someone new, but rather remember who we are beneath the noise. Through breath, movement, and moments of stillness, she creates spaces that invite connection, clarity, and a sense of coming home.

Beth’s teaching is guided not only by movement, but by a deep awareness of the body’s subtle energy. She weaves this into each experience—whether through dynamic flow, gentle practice, or restorative stillness—meeting people where they are and supporting both physical and energetic balance.

Inspired by nature and the quiet wisdom of horses, her approach reflects a balance of grounded presence and intuitive guidance. She believes that healing happens when we slow down enough to listen, and that within each of us is a steady place we can return to again and again.

EQUINE EXPERIENCE with Loveaya

Loveaya Magnus brings a lifelong connection with horses into every experience she creates. She has owned and worked with horses since the age of nine and has never been far from them, shaping a deep understanding rooted not just in training, but in observation, relationship, and respect for the herd.

She holds a degree in Therapeutic Horsemanship and is an Advanced Certified Instructor through PATH International, as well as a mentor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. Her approach blends professional expertise with a holistic perspective—believing that horses and nature offer a space where people can return to themselves.

Much of Loveaya’s learning has come directly from the horses—watching herd dynamics, noticing subtle communication, and allowing the horses to guide the experience. She is passionate about helping others connect with horses in this same authentic way. Horses have a unique ability to ground us, bring us into the present moment, and reflect what we carry—offering insight, calm, and connection without judgment.

Through these retreats, Loveaya creates opportunities for people to slow down, tune in, and experience the quiet, powerful presence of horses in a way that is both meaningful and transformative.

SOUND EXPERIENCE with JennieRuth

JennieRuth is a sound practitioner, yoga teacher, and lifelong musician who creates immersive sound meditation experiences designed to support deep rest, reflection, and inner connection.

Raised in a home rooted in both spiritual inquiry and creative expression, JennieRuth developed an early curiosity about the unseen and a deep reverence for the role of sound in shaping our experience. Her background in classical and jazz music, beginning with the double bass at a young age, continues to inform the way she listens, creates, and guides.

Her work weaves together music, presence, and subtle awareness—offering sound experiences that gently move through the body, inviting relaxation, release, and a sense of recalibration. She has guided sound meditations in a wide range of settings, including retreats, yoga studios, schools, healthcare environments, and private sessions.

JennieRuth’s album Healing Waves of Sound reflects this intention, offering a continuation of the spaces she creates in person—where sound becomes a pathway back to stillness.
