Join us on the farm for a week! This inclusive day camp offers classic summer camp programming for adults 55+. Campers will have the opportunity to interact with our therapy horses (and donkeys!), learning horse care basics while offering a therapeutic space for them to connect with nature. With supervision from trained staff and volunteers, participants will be able to explore our nature trails and engage in creative arts activities to promote mindfulness through recreation and leisure. Equine activities will be unmounted.

About the Camp Counselors

Sammy Petitte: Sammy is a certified recreational therapist with years of experience working with children and adults of all ability levels. She has also been working with equine-assisted services programs since 2017. Sammy partners with horses to provide a fun, educational, grounding experience. As a CTRS, she also uses music, nature-based programming, games, and other modalities.

Emily Loberg: Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Art Education and brings years of experience teaching Kindergarten through 12th-grade students in traditional and alternative settings. She has also supported adults in assisted living and home health settings, incorporating art, games, and music to promote creativity and overall well-being. Emily creates a safe space for artists to learn, grow, and enjoy the creative process.
